After events, celebrations, trips or just hanging out, there’s a hassle to collect all the photos you'll want to look back on. People want a quick way to share photos with the friends who are in them, and get photos that they're in back. Even if they do end up getting some of their friends’ photos, it’s difficult to keep them all organized in one place on their phone.
Konvene is a mobile phone application that aims to simplify the process of sharing images from an event, party or any other 'moment' among friends. Users can create privately shared image albums, so-called Snaps, in the app and then invite others to either contribute to the album or view the images. Konvene lets you pick contributors or viewers from your list of phone contacts. Those who decide to contribute can opt either for automatic upload of all images taken during the event, or select to approve images for upload first. Creating photo collections known as 'Snaps’ allows users to take photographs together and have their results uploaded to a central pool for sharing. Snaps are stored in “safe data-centres” which are available online, but if you want to store your photos locally, you can download to your device. Konvene makes photo sharing simple, private and automatic.
